The Best of Life in Spandex 2016!

2016 in a one word description would be something like… changing. Maybe it’s a part of being twenty-something, but I feel like I’ve seen some of the biggest changes in my life during the past couple of years. During 2016, I acquired my Precision Nutrition Certification, went through a major personal life change, and was awarded a promotion at my work that combines my passion for fitness with my knack for marketing. These pivotal moments of 2016 not only changed my life circumstance, they helped me grow as an individual.

Change can be scary for a lot of people. For me, it’s freeing. It’s freeing to know that no matter what the circumstance, it can change. And not only can it change, but we have the power to change it ourselves. Whether that change is for the better or worse, well that just depends on how you look at it. 😉

Keep this in mind as you create your 2017 resolutions, goals, and vision. Maybe your picture for the year ahead isn’t exactly clear. If 2016 was rough, take some time to sit with your feelings about last year before rushing into any new plans. You may not even be ready to create new goals. That’s OK! In fact, it’s normal. January 1st is not the only day to start creating change. Hell, I hope it’s not! If you didn’t accomplish something you wanted to in 2016, keep working at it in 2017. As Ekhart Tolle said, “The past has no power over the present moment.”

Ironically, this blog post is actually about the past! I wanted to take the time to reflect on The Best of Life in Spandex from this past year according to all of you. Without further ado, here are the Top 10 Blog Posts from 2016!
