Every year I post a "Best of" post with a list of the most popular blog posts from lifeinspandex.com. I'm still going to post this list below. However, the best part of 2017 had nothing to do with what I've done and everything to do with how you've contributed. Creating a strong, friendly, and empowering community of #bossbabes has always been my ultimate dream. But it's far from easy! All of you have so many different awesome fitness, health, and lifestyle influencers to choose from. I am humbled every time you choose me to help guide you to self-love, fitness goals, health, and strength in mind, body, career, and relationships. Chocolate Banana Nut Protein Pancakes
I admit, I am a breakfast food junkie. Oats and eggs have special places in my heart, but I am absolutely addicted to protein pancakes. I will gladly eat them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a late night sweet treat. They satisfy all my basic needs - 1) easy to prepare 2) filling 3)healthy 4) taste like dessert! What more could a girl ask for? I've outdone myself with this new protein pancake recipe. And I didn't think that could be done after concocting these Pumpkin Pie Protein Pancakes. However, it wasn't until July 2015 that I decided to really go for this whole blogging thing. I started posting more regularly, worked on outreach and networking, gave the website a whole new look and feel, updated my imagery with professional photo and video shoots, got branded, started a YouTube channel, got on the Pinterest train,
Breakfast for Dinner – The Best Veggie Omelette Recipe
My favorite meal is breakfast... for dinner! It's delicious, filled with protein, and super easy on those late nights where you're exhausted and just want to eat popcorn out of the bag for dinner. If you're on one of my Nutrition Plans, you know that I am a full believer in a carbohydrate-rich diet. But, there's a time and place for starches. When I eat my breakfast at night, it looks a little different. It's higher in protein and healthy fats and lower in starchy carbohydrates. This makes a veggie-packed egg white omelette the best option for night-time! I use egg whites instead of whole eggs for a couple of reasons. 1) They're 100% protein. There's no fat and no
