The New Year is definitely in full swing! The gym has been much busier lately and buzzing with energized New Year resolutions. (Hence why blog content is coming at ya just once a week this month). I just hope it sticks for more people than it did last year! I think one reason why so many New Year resolutions dwindle by February is because people tend to take on too much too fast. Motivation is going to be at its highest when you take on a new goal. However, within just two to three days, the fatigue and DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) will start to kick in and the idea of going back to sweat it out again becomes way less exciting and way more daunting. Slow your roll, lady. Didn’t we all read the Tortoise and the Hare growing up?? Slow and steady wins the race! Want to know how I stay motivated? I was just featured on one of my favorite foodie blogs Physical Kitchness where I share my tips on the topic!
To keep your workouts fresh and combat any mid-month fatigue, I have a NEW workout coming at ya today. It only takes 15 minutes and you can do it anywhere! These are some of my favorite exercises to define your waistline and sculpt your entire core. These exercises are effective! You’re going to want to PIN this routine and keep it in your back pocket. Let’s make it sizzle in the middle! (Think that catchphrase could catch on?? haha)
